Williams & Connolly client Teva Pharmaceuticals prevailed in patent litigation involving Teva's product Qvar®, a steroid inhaler treatment for asthma. In July 2023, following a bench trial before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey in which Williams & Connolly served as lead trial counsel, the court issued a thorough decision ruling for Teva on every issue.
The team representing Teva included partners David Berl, Ben Greenblum, and Elise Baumgarten and associates Kat Kayali, Ben Picozzi, and Ricardo Leyva.
